Stopping a nosebleed has never been so simple.

NasaClip provides the constant uninterrupted pressure your body needs to stop a nosebleed and allow it to complete it's natural clotting process. Your doctor may add medicine to the intranasal sponges to help stop bleeding faster.

  • Step 1

    Clean Your Nose

Blow your nose forcefully to remove any clots

  • Step 2

    Open and Insert

Pull apart pinch pads and rotate them away from the sponges to make it easy to insert both NasaClip sponges into the nostrils with the curve pointing upwards.

  • Step 3

    Sponges In

Rotate the clip into place and firmly squeeze shut over the nostrils.

  • Step 4

    Take A Beat

Leave the device in place for 10 to 20 minutes.

  • Step 5

    All Done!

Release the clip and check for bleeding. If needed, sponges may be rinsed with clean water, squeezed dry and reinserted 2 to 3 times until bleeding has stopped.

  • Step 6

    Try Again

If bleeding persists, you can rinse and re-use your NasaClip device 2 to 3 times during that episode.

Bleeding that continues for 30 minutes or more, should be managed by a medical professional. Visit your local hospital or urgent care.

The 411 on Nosebleeds 🩸

Nosebleeds are an overlooked issue and there are several misconceptions about how they happen, who they happen to, and how to treat them. Check out some information on nosebleeds below.

Did You Know?

Nosebleed Fast Facts

Nosebleeds are more common than you might think. About 60% of people will experience at least one nosebleed in their lifetime. They're especially prevalent among children aged 2-10 and adults 55-80, as well as individuals with blood disorders, high blood pressure, or those taking blood thinners. In fact, one-third of US households has at least one member who experiences recurrent nosebleeds.

Background Info

Understanding Nosebleeds

Most nosebleeds are anterior nosebleeds, accounting for 90% of cases. These occur when blood vessels in the front of the nose (Kiesselbach's plexus) break, usually due to trauma, colds, allergies, or dry air. While they may seem alarming, most nosebleeds aren't serious.

However, if you experience heavy, uncontrollable bleeding, it could be a posterior nosebleed, which requires immediate medical attention.

FAQs

Your NasaClip Questions Answered

Can children use NasaClip?

Absolutely! NasaClip is designed with the whole family in mind. We offer a special NasaClip for Kids version that's perfectly sized for younger noses (ages 2-13). Our pediatric device ensures that children can benefit from the same innovative, hands-free nosebleed management as adults (ages 14+). Whether it's a playground mishap or a late-night nosebleed, NasaClip for Kids is there to save the day (and your pillowcases)

Is NasaClip reusable?

You bet! NasaClip is all about simplicity and sustainability. Our devices are designed for multiple uses, making them a smart and eco-friendly choice for nosebleed management. Just remember to replace the soft, medical-grade sponges after each use to maintain hygiene and effectiveness. With proper care, your NasaClip will be ready to tackle nosebleeds time and time again.

What if the nosebleed doesn't stop?

While NasaClip is highly effective for most nosebleeds, we understand that sometimes stubborn bleeds need extra attention. If your nosebleed persists after using NasaClip for 30 minutes, it's time to seek medical help. Remember, NasaClip is your first line of defense, but your health and safety always come first. When in doubt, don't hesitate to consult a healthcare professional.

What's the difference between N1 and N2?

Great question! Both N1 and N2 are part of the NasaClip family, designed to make nosebleed management a breeze. The key difference lies in their design:

  • N1 is our original, metal single-use device. It's perfect for occasional nosebleeds or when you need a quick, disposable solution.
  • N2 is our innovative all plastic reusable device. It features the same effective design as N1 but allows for multiple uses with replaceable sponges. N2 is ideal for those who experience frequent nosebleeds or for athletes that need a safe option to return to play.

Both versions offer the hands-free, comfortable compression that NasaClip is known for. Choose the one that best fits your lifestyle and nosebleed needs!
